Next tattoo by BlueStoneArcher
Next tattoo
For lack of a better place to upload this where I can find it quickly, this is one of my ideas for my next tattoo, referencing the two common ways that handprints were rendered in cave art - quick image search gets me… as far as showing the real things, rather than paw prints.  Pardon the sketchy nature of the thing.
Tigress by BlueStoneArcher
Any ideas on a "real" name?  'Cause I'm shyte at that and have basically given up.

Ages and ages ago I had a (female) tiger character (Margo) that I started drawing a comic about, never finished, and then reused her name for my (male) tauren (Margot, 'cause Margo was taken).  I'm really not all that inventive.  She's a magi with a talent for shape-shifting who got caught in the backwash of one of her own spells and ended up stuck as a tiger.  Or, partly stuck as a tiger.

Anyway, resurrecting her somewhat for the Epic Wizard Battle coming up 'cause, as I mentioned before, I'm really not all that creative.

More extensive use of the watercolor technique I've learned recently, 'cause it's fun and fast.

Watercolor Dragongirl

My finished-enough product of a recent tutorial I found.…

Lots of little things are leaping out at me to fix, but for now I'm really rather happy.

One of the things I dislike about my "usual process" is that I've basically spent most of my "art career" attempting to draw comics. Nothing wrong with that, of course, I enjoy it. The one big thing that that focuses on, however, is tight lines and tight colors. My hand simply isn't trained to do loosy-goosy coloring that's necessary to really make watercolor shine. I can watercolor in real life - in fact I love doing it. It'd super fast, I can get results that I find pleasing (if not tight) and I can ink over after the fact, with varying degrees of "true to the original intent" to get the point across.

Digitally? Well, the tablet is perfect for drawing tight to the original intent. The Cintiq is even worse, since the hand is directly over the art again (believe me, I often forego my "real" Cintiq and my home made one, in favor of the tablet). So, the tutorial worked well, I think. Not sleeping for two days straight might've helped too.

Oh, and I wanna do a booo to my art teachers for barely teaching how to mix colors for skintones, and ignoring any skintone other than "burst into flame" European. Yeah, watercolor can do a good job at capturing those skintones... with a hell of a lot of work and subtly. But ya know what? I had one heck of a lot of fun with this dragon girl and artist should have fun drawing folks of every color. Especially blue. I love blue people.

...I need sleep.

....Right. Rant over. Have art.

Each commission, unless otherwise stated, will have reasonable amount of edits/corrections for each piece and I will send a web-sized and a print sized copy of the final version to you.  A simple background would be included in the price of the colored commissions.  Backgrounds take me forever, so I’ll need clear details (mainly so I’m not redoing it several times). If it needs to be rather complex, I might add an additional charge based on the time needed to get it done; let me know at the design stage and I'll be able to give you a better idea.

  • Fan Fiction (If there are multiple official contributors, such as Star Wars, I’m okay. If it’s a single writer/artist/creator, such as Harry Potter, I will seek permission from the owner before creating your artwork.  If I do not receive this, I will have to turn down your commission.)
  • Transport (Not really a squick, more of a “I suck at this”)
  • Robots/Mecha (see note on transport, haha)

  • Underage folks in sexual situations (shota, loli, etc)
  • Watersports/Scat
  • Hyper
  • Guro

Paypal is the easiest form of payment - other methods may be acceptable, ask and I’ll let you know.
