Tutorial: Clean Your Lineart with One Button! by BlueStoneArcher Tutorial: Clean Your Lineart with One Button! by BlueStoneArcher
My first tutorial (in image form) =) This is how I clean up my lines and get an image prepped to color it. I learned Actions in Photoshop a little while back, and realized that it was super easy to turn my long "to-do" list into a simple one click deal (which makes editing multiple images super easy).

So, here's how you can get your art cleaned in one click too =)

I use a PC (as I'm sure is noticeable by the ctrl and alt commands listed in the image) but this is also doable in Macs. I've used actions from Photoshop 6.0 onward, so I know the instructions go back that far. The technique for cleaning I've basically used since Photoshop 3.5... and now I'm showing my age, ha.

Lemme know if it helps, hinders, needs tweeking, yadda yadda.

Enjoy =)

You're very welcome! I'm glad it'll be helpful to ya =)

(And yes, omg does it save time to have all these steps done at once. Also, at least for me, means I don't randomly forget stuffs!)

Very astute, seeing as it's in all those Avatar groups. =P

It was a request from that end of the world, and I figured it wouldn't hurt to use fanart as the basic lineart for a tutorial, since the process the more important part of this piece.
